Contributing to the socioeconomic wellbeing of the pastoralist community of northern Tanzania through sustainable solutions that empower people to work, create wealth and improve their individual and communal wellbeing. .

Strategic Objective

By 2026, ENGISHON will significantly improve livelihoods for more than 5,000 pastoralist micro-entrepreneurs in northern Tanzania, with a bias for women and youth. ENGISHON will achieve this goal by leveraging its strategic resources and partnerships.

ENGISHON is best at serving the pastoralist community, drawing on the goodwill and strong community relationships cultivated by her parent organization (Pastoralist Women’s Council) through many years working with women and youth in the community.
